මොණරාගල, කිණිගොඩ මහා විද්යාලයීය ඉතිහාසයේ නව පිටුවක් පෙරළමින්, 2025 වසරේ ප්රථම වරට උසස් පෙළ විභාගයට පෙනී සිටි සිසුන් හයදෙනාම විශිෂ්ට සාමාර්ථ (A සහ B පමණක්) ලබාගනිමින් සමස්ත දිස්ත්රික්කයටම ආදර්ශයක් සපයා ඇත. ඉන් සිසුන් පස්දෙනෙකුම සරසවි වරම් ලැබීම නිමිත්තෙන් පැවැති උපහාර උළෙල, ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර නීතිඥ කපිල ජයසේකර මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පසුගිය 2026.04.08 වනදා එම විද්යාලයේදී උත්කර්ෂවත් අයුරින් පැවැත්විණි.
වෙළඳ, වාණිජ, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතාව සහ සමුපකාර නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය ආර්.එම්. ජයවර්ධන මහතා, මොණරාගල දිස්ත්රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී රුවන් විජේවීර මහතා ඇතුළු සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන් රැසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් පැවැති මෙම උත්සවයේදී සිසුන්ගේ දක්ෂතා ඇගයීමට ලක්කෙරිණි. ඌව පළාත් අධ්යාපන ලේකම් ඇතුළු නිලධාරීන්, විදුහල්පතිතුමා, ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සහ දෙමාපියන් ද මෙම අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.
Turning a new page in the history of Kinigoda Maha Vidyalaya, Monaragala, all six students who sat the Advanced Level examination for the very first time in 2025 achieved outstanding results — obtaining only A and B passes — setting an exemplary standard for the entire district. A felicitation ceremony held in honour of five of those students receiving university admission was presided over by Uva Provincial Governor, Attorney-at-Law Kapila Jayasekara, and was held in a grand manner at the school premises on 08th April 2026.
The event was attended by a distinguished gathering including Deputy Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperatives R.M. Jayawardena, Monaragala District Member of Parliament Ruwan Wijeweera, and a number of other esteemed guests, during which the talents and accomplishments of the students were warmly recognized and celebrated. The Uva Provincial Director of Education and other officials, the principal, the teaching staff, and parents were also present on this occasion.
