පූනාගල නාය යෑම හේතුවෙන් විපතට පත් වූ පවුල් වෙනුවෙන් ස්ථිර නිවාස ලබාදීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතිය
පූනාගල නාය යෑම හේතුවෙන් විපතට පත් වූ පවුල් වෙනුවෙන් ස්ථිර නිවාස ලබාදීමේ ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ පවුල් 51කට ස්ථිර නිවාස ඉදිකිරීම සඳහා ඉඩම් ප්‍රදානය කිරීමත්, ස්ථිර නිවාස ඉදි කිරීම සඳහා මුල්ගල් තැබීමත් ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නිතීඥ ජේ.එම්.කපිල ජයසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් 2025.03.15 දින පූනාගල කබරගල කොටසේදී පැවැත්විණි.
පූනාගල නාය යෑම හේතුවෙන් විපතට පත් වූ පවුල් 51කට අයත් පිරිස් වසර දෙකකට ආසන්න කාලයක් තේ කර්මාන්ත ශාලාවක ජීවත් වූ අතර, එම පවුල් සඳහා ලක්ෂ 28ක වියදමකින් යුත් අංගසම්පූර්ණ නිවසක් ඉදිකිරීමටත්, ඒ වෙනුවෙන් පර්චස් 10ක ඉඩම් කොටසක් ලබා දීමටත් අපේක්ෂිතය. මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා මූල්‍ය වියදම වැවිලි සහ ප්‍රජා යටිතල පහසුකම් අමාත්‍යාංශය විසින් සපයනු ලබන අතර, ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුධ හමුදාව ශ්‍රම දායකත්වය මගින් විශේෂ අනුග්‍රහයක් ලබා දීමට නියමිතය.
Permanent Housing Project for Families Affected by the Punagala Landslide
The ceremony of land distribution and foundation stone laying for the construction of permanent houses for 51 families affected by the Punagala landslide was held under the patronage of the Governor of Uva Province, Attorney J.M. Kapila Jayasekara, on March 15, 2025 at the Kabaragala section in Punagala.
The 51 families affected by the Punagala landslide had been living in a tea factory for nearly two years. Each family is expected to receive a fully-furnished house worth 2.8 million rupees, along with a 10-perch land plot. The financial expenditure for this project will be provided by the Ministry of Plantation and Community Infrastructure, while the Sri Lanka Army is scheduled to provide special support through labor contribution.
