ඌව අමරපුර මහා නිකායේ ප්‍රධාන අධිකරණ සංඝනායක පදවියෙන් පිදුම් ලද, පස්සර, කොටුවවත්ත ශ්‍රී උත්තරාරාම විහාරස්ථානය ඇතුළු සප්තමහා විහාරාධිපති අති පුජ්‍ය කණහෙල ධම්මික ස්වාමින් වහන්සේ වෙත, ශ්‍රී සන්නස් පත්‍රය ප්‍රදානය කිරීමේ මහෝත්සවය 2025.03.09 දින පස්සර, කොටුවත්ත ශ්‍රී උත්තරාරාම විහාරස්ථානයේ දී පැවැත්විණී.
ඌව අමරපුර මහා නිකායේ මහානායක බෝපිටියේ සුමනවංශ හිමියන් විසින් ප්‍රධානත්වය හොබ වන ලද මෙම උත්සව අවස්ථාවේදී, ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නිතීඥ ජේ.එම්.කපිල ජයසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ සුරතින් සන්නස් පත්‍රය ද, වැවිලි කටයුතු හා ප්‍රජා යටිතල පහසුකම් පිළිබඳ ගරු අමාත්‍ය සමන්ත විද්‍යාරත්න මැතිතුමා අතින් විජිනිපත්‍රය ද පිළිගැන්වීම සිදු විය. ගරු ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේලා සහ ගරු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී කිට්නන් සෙල්වරාජ් මැතිතුමා ඇතුළු ප්‍රදේශවාසින් රැසක් මේ අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.

The grand ceremony of presenting the Sri Sannas Patra (Official Appointment Decree) to the Most Venerable Kanahela Dhammika Thero, who was honored with the position of Chief Judicial Sanghanayaka of the Uva Amarapura Maha Nikaya and who serves as the chief incumbent of seven major temples including the Sri Uttararama Temple in Kotuwawatta, Passara, was held on March 9, 2025 at the Sri Uttararama Temple in Kotuwawatta, Passara.
During this ceremonial occasion, which was presided over by the Mahanayaka (Supreme Patriarch) of the Uva Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Most Venerable Bopitiye Sumanawansa Thero, the Sannas Patra was presented by the Governor of Uva Province, Attorney J.M. Kapila Jayasekara, while the ceremonial fan was presented by the Honorable Minister of Plantation Affairs and Community Infrastructure, Mr. Samantha Vidyaratne. The ceremony was attended by several venerable monks, the Honorable Member of Parliament Mr. Kiththanan Selvaraj, and many local residents.
