Clean Sri Lanka ජාතික වැඩසටහනට සමගාමීව ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලය විසින් දිවයිනේ සියලු රජයේ පාසැල් කේන්ද්‍රකර ගනිමින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනුු ලබන NEXTGEN LEADERS වැඩසටහනේ ඌව පළාත් සමාරම්භය 2025.10.31 දින බණ්ඩාරවෙල විශාකා ජාතික පාසලේ දී පැවැත්විණ.
“ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා” ලංකා වැඩසටහනේ ප්‍රධාන කුළුණු තුනෙන් එකක් වන ආචාර ධර්ම, ධනාත්මක සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේ අපේක්ෂාවෙන් පාසල් දරුවන් ඉලක්ක කර ගනිමින් මෙම වැඩසටහන ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබයි. තව ද, පාසල් දරුවන්ගේ මෘදු කුසලතා සංවර්ධනය, ඒ හා සමගාමීව එම දරුවන්ගේ නායකත්ව කුසලතා හා ආකල්ප සංවර්ධනය තුළින් ස්වයං ආචාර ධර්ම පද්ධතියක් දරුවන් තුළ ඇති කරලීම, දරුවන් තුළ පාසල පිළිබඳ, තමන් උපන් මව්බිම පිළිබද ධනාත්මක ආකල්ප වර්ධනය, දරුවන්ගේ සංවර්ධනය වෙනුවෙන් මව්පිය භූමිකා සංවර්ධනය හා දැනුවත්භාවය වර්ධනය කීරිම අරමුණ ඇතිව ක්‍රියාත්මක කරනු ලබන මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා බණ්ඩාරවෙල කලාපයේ පාසල් හතක ශිෂ්‍ය ශිෂ්‍යාවන් එකසිය හතලියකට ආසන්න පිරිසක් එක්ව සිටියහ.
ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නීතිඥ කපිල ජයසේකර මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවති මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා ඌව පළාත් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ලේකම් නිහාල් ගුණරත්න මහතා ඇතුළු නිලධාරින් රැසක් ද එක්ව සිටියහ.
The Uva Provincial launch of the NEXTGEN LEADERS program, implemented by the Presidential Secretariat focusing on all government schools across the island in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka National Program, was held on October 31, 2025, at Bandarawela Vishaka National School.
This program is implemented targeting school children with the expectation of positive development of ethics and morals, which is one of the three main pillars of the “Clean Sri Lanka” program. Furthermore, the program is implemented with the objectives of developing soft skills of school children, developing their leadership skills and attitudes to create a self-disciplinary system within children, fostering positive attitudes among children about their school and their motherland, and developing and raising awareness of parental roles for children’s development. Approximately one hundred and seventy students from seven schools in the Bandarawela area participated in this program.
This program, held under the patronage of Uva Provincial Governor Attorney-at-Law Kapila Jayasekara, was attended by a large number of officials including the Secretary of the Uva Provincial Ministry of Education, Mr. Nihal Gunarathna.
