ඌව පළාත තුළ හදිසි ආපදා ප්‍රතිචාර සඳහා සම්බන්ධීකරණ යාන්ත්‍රණය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම සහ බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ප්‍රතිචාර හා සහන සේවා කණ්ඩායම්වල හැකියාවන් වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම අරමුණු කරගනිමින් ඒකාබද්ධ හදිසි ආපදා ප්‍රතිචාර අභ්‍යාසයක් 2025.10.16 වන දින පාර්ශව රැසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් ඇල්ල-වැල්ලවාය මාර්ගයේ පවත්වන ලදී.
මේ සඳහා ආපදා කළමනාකරණ ඒකකය, ඌව පළාත් සභාව, දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාල හා ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාල, ආරක්ෂක අංශ, වෛද්‍ය හා සත්කාර ඒකකයන් මෙන්ම මුදවාගැනීමේ කණ්ඩායම් ද සිය දායකත්වය ලබා දෙන ලදි.
ආපදා කළමනාකරණ ඒකකය විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද මෙම හදිසි ආපදා ප්‍රතිචාර අභ්‍යාසය සඳහා, ඌව පළාතේ ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාරතුමා, බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම්, ඇතුළු බොහෝ නිලධාරීන් පිරිසක් සහභාගී වූහ.
A joint emergency disaster response drill was conducted on October 16, 2025, along the Ella-Wellawaya Road with the participation of multiple stakeholders, aimed at strengthening the coordination mechanism for emergency disaster response within the Uva Province and enhancing the capacities of response and relief service teams in the Badulla District.
For this purpose, the Disaster Management Unit, Uva Provincial Council, District Secretariat and Divisional Secretariat offices, security forces, medical and care units, as well as rescue teams contributed their support.
The Hon. Governor of Uva Province, the District Secretary of Badulla, and many other officials participated in this emergency disaster response drill organized by the Disaster Management Unit.
