ඌව පළාත් සභාව, Clean Sri Lanka මහ ලේකම් කාර්යාලය, මොණරාගල දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාලය, බදුල්ල මහා නගර සභාව ඇතුළු රාජ්‍ය ආයතන, ඌව ශක්ති පදනම හා සිවිල් සංවිධාන ඒකාබද්ධව සංවිධානය කරනු ලද සංස්කෘතික මිනිසා සොයා යන “ඌව නවෝදය” සංස්කෘතික කලා මංගල්‍යය සැප්තැම්බර් 29 දින සිට ඔක්තෝබර් 05 දක්වා උදෑසන 9.00 සිට රාත්‍රී 10.00 දක්වා ඌව පළාත් සභාව, බදුල්ල සේනානායක උද්‍යානය, වෙලේකඩේ පැරණි වෙළඳ සංකීර්ණය, පුස්තකාල ශ්‍රවනාගාරය, කාර්මික විද්‍යාලය හා බදුල්ල පුරහල කේන්ද්‍රකරගනිමින් පැවැත්විණි.
පුරා සතියක කාලයක් සංස්කෘතික මිනිසා සොයා ගිය “ඌව නවෝදය” සංස්කෘතික කලා මංගල්‍යය ප්‍රවීණ කලාකරුවන්ගේ හා රාජ්‍ය නිලධාරින්ගේ නර්තන හා ගායන ප්‍රසංග, ඌවේ පාරම්පරික සංස්කෘතිකාංග, කවි මඩු, කෝලම් මඩු, සාහිත්‍ය දේශන, නාට්‍ය, වීදි නාට්‍ය, චිත්‍රපට දර්ශන, පාසල් හා පෙර පාසල් ළමුන් සඳහා වන විවිධ වැඩසටහන් ආහාර සැණකෙළි හා වෙළඳ කුටි රැසකින් වර්ණවත් විය.
ඒ අනුව, මෙම කලා මංගල්‍යය සාර්ථක කරගැනීම සඳහා ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන් සිය දායකත්වය ලබා දුන් කලාකරුවන්, සාහිත්‍යධරයන් සියලු දෙනාට ද, ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ ලේකම් කාර්යාලය සහ ඌව පළාත් සභාවේ සියලුම ආයතන, මොණරාගල දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාලය, බදුල්ල නගර සභාව, ස්වේච්ඡා සංවිධාන, මාධ්‍යවේදීන් ඇතුලු නන් අයුරින් සහය දුන් සියලු දෙනා හට ඌව පළාත් ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නීතිඥ කපිල ජයසේකර මැතිතුමා විසින් සිය හෘදයාංගම ස්තූතිය සහ ගෞරවය පුදකරන ලදි.
” ඌව නවෝදය ” සංස්කෘතික කලා මංගල්‍යය සාර්ථකව අවසන් කර ගැනීම සදහා දායක වු ඌව පළාත් සභාවේ ලේකම්වරු, නියෝජ්‍ය ප්‍රධාන ලේකම්වරු, ආයතන ප්‍රධානීන් සහ නිලධාරින් අගය කිරීම සඳහා 2025.10.07 වන දින කෙටි සාකච්ඡාවක් සංවිධානය කර තිබූ අතර, එහිදී ඌව පළාත් ප්‍රධාන ලේකම්තුමිය, ඇතුලු සියලුම පළාත් සභා නිලධාරින්ගේ සේවය, හැකියාවන් ඇගයීමට ලක් විය.
“පොහොසත් රටක් – ලස්සන ජීවිතයක් ” නිර්මාණය කිරීම සඳහා යන ගමන් මගේ, සංස්කෘතික මිනිසා සොයා ගිය “ඌව නවෝදය” කලා මංගල්‍යය සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමට හැකියාවක් ලැබුණු බවත්, දක්ෂතාවලින් පරිපූර්ණ, සාහිත්‍යකාමී රාජ්‍ය සේවයක් ඌව පළාත සතු බව පසක් කරලූ බවත්, ඒ සම්බන්ධව නැවත වරක් සිය ස්තූතිය පළ කරන බවත් වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දක්වමින් ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාරතුමා පැවසීය.
The “Uva Nawodaya” cultural arts festival, seeking the cultural identity, jointly organized by the Uva Provincial Council, the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Monaragala District Secretariat, Badulla Municipal Council and other government institutions, the Uva Shakti Foundation, and civil organizations, was held from September 29 to October 5, daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, centered around the Uva Provincial Council, Badulla Senanayake Park, Welekade Old Commercial Complex, Library Auditorium, Technical College, and Badulla Town Hall.
The “Uva Nawodaya” cultural arts festival, which sought the cultural identity throughout the week, was colorful with dance and singing performances by veteran artists and government officials, traditional cultural events of Uva, poetry circles, Kolam circles, literary lectures, dramas, street dramas, film screenings, various programs for school and preschool children, food stalls, and numerous trade stalls.
Accordingly, His Excellency the Governor of Uva Province, Attorney-at-Law Kapila Jayasekara, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and respect to all the artists and literary figures who voluntarily contributed their services to make this arts festival a success, as well as to the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat and all institutions of the Uva Provincial Council, Monaragala District Secretariat, Badulla Municipal Council, voluntary organizations, journalists, and all others who supported in various ways.
A brief discussion was organized on October 7, 2025, to appreciate the secretaries, deputy chief secretaries, heads of institutions, and officers of the Uva Provincial Council who contributed to the successful completion of the “Uva Nawodaya” cultural arts festival, during which the services and capabilities of the Chief Secretary of Uva Province and all Provincial Council officers were appreciated.
The Honorable Governor further stated that he was able to successfully complete the “Uva Nawodaya” arts festival, which sought the cultural identity, on the journey toward creating “A Prosperous Country – A Beautiful Life,” that it demonstrated that the Uva Province has a literary-minded public service filled with skills, and that he once again expressed his gratitude in this regard.
