බදුල්ල, අළුගොල්ල සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා වහන්සේ ශාසනයට පූජා කිරීමේ මහෝත්සවය

බදුල්ල, අළුගොල්ල සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා වහන්සේ ශාසනයට පූජා කිරීමේ මහෝත්සවය ගරුත ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නීතිඥ ජේ.එම්.කපිල ජයසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් යුතුව 2025 ජූලි 10 වන දින පැවැත්විණි.
මහා සංඝරත්නය ප්‍රධානත්වය හොබවන ලද මෙම අවස්ථාවට වැවිලි හා ප්‍රජා යටිතල පහසුකම් අමාත්‍ය සමන්ත විද්‍යාරත්න මහතා, පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී දිනිදු සමන් හෙන්නායක මහතා සහ බදුල්ල නගරාධිපති නන්දන හපුගොඩ මහතා ඇතුළු බැතිමතුන් රැසක් එක්ව සිටියහ
මෙම සමාධි පිළිම වහන්සේ නිර්මාණය කිරීම සඳහා මූලිකත්වය ගනු ලැබූ සහ සියලු ආකාරයේ දායකත්වය ලබා දුන් සැමට සිය කෘතඥතාව පළ කරන බවත්, බදුල්ල නගරයේ සුන්දරත්වය තව දුරටත් වැඩි කරමින් ඉදි වූ මෙම පිංබිම බැතිමතුන්ගේ නිබඳ ගෞරව වන්දනාමානයට ලක් වනු ඇතැයි තමා බලාපොරොත්තු වන බවත් ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාරතුමා සිය සුභාශිංසන එක් කරමින් පැවසීය.
The grand festival of offering prayers to the Samadhi Buddha statue in Badulla, Alugolla was held on July 10, 2025, with the participation of the Honorable Provincial Governor of Uva Province, Attorney J.M. Kapila Jayasekara.
This occasion, presided over by the Maha Sangha Rathna (Great Assembly of Monks), was attended by a large gathering of devotees including Minister of Plantations and Community Infrastructure Facilities Samantha Vidyaratna, Member of Parliament Dinidu Saman Henayaka, and Badulla Mayor Nandana Hapugoda.
The Honorable Governor, while extending his blessings, expressed his gratitude to all those who took the initiative in creating this Samadhi statue and provided all forms of contributions. He also stated that he hopes this sacred site, built to further enhance the beauty of Badulla city, will receive the continuous reverence and worship of the devotees.
