සංස්කෘතික මිනිසා සොයා යන “ඌව නවෝදය” සංස්කෘතික කලා මංගල්‍යයට සමගාමීව ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර කාර්යාලය විසින් සංවිධානය කරනු ලැබු ” කවි මඩුව” 2025.10.03 වන දින සවස එම කාර්යාලයීය පරිශ්‍රයේ දී පැවැත්විණි.
Clean Sri Lanka ජාතික වැඩසටහනේ මූලික පරමාර්ථයන් ඉස්මතු වන ආකාරයේ කවි සංවාද වලින් හැඩ ගැන්වුණු මෙම සංස්කෘතිකාංගය සඳහා ඌව පළාතේ මෙන්ම දිවයිනේ සුප්‍රසිද්ධ කවීන් හා කිවිඳියන් රැසක් ස්වකීය දායකත්වය ලබා දුනි.
එසේම, ඌවේ ගැමි අසිරිය විදහාපාන ආකාරයේ දර්ශනීය ගැමි පරිසරයක සිට මියුරු කවියක රස විදීමට ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර කාර්යාලය මඟින් අවස්ථාව සළසා දී තිබිණි.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට ඌව පළාත් ගරු ආණ්ඩුකාරවර නීතිඥ කපිල ජයසේකර මැතිතුමා, හාලිඇල ප්‍රාදේශීය සභාවේ ගරු සභාපති ප්‍රියන්ත වරුෂමාන මහතා, ඌව පළාත් ප්‍රධාන ලේකම්තුමිය, ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර ලේකම්තුමිය ඇතුලු ඌව පළාත් සභාවේ නිලධාරින් සහ ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් රැසක් සහභාගී වූහ.
“Uva Nawodaya” Poetry Gathering Organized in Search of Cultural Identity The “Poetry Circle” organized by the Uva Provincial Governor’s Office in conjunction with the “Uva Nawodaya” cultural arts festival was held on the evening of October 3, 2025, at the office premises.
This cultural event, shaped by poetic discussions that highlighted the fundamental objectives of the Clean Sri Lanka national program, received contributions from numerous renowned poets and poetesses from the Uva Province as well as from across the island.
Additionally, the Uva Provincial Governor’s Office provided an opportunity to enjoy the taste of sweet poetry from a scenic rural setting that showcased the rustic beauty of Uva.
The event was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Uva Province, Attorney-at-Law Kapila Jayasekara, the Honorable Chairman of the Hali-Ela Pradeshiya Sabha Mr. Priyantha Warushamana, the Chief Secretary of Uva Province, the Secretary to the Governor of Uva Province, officials of the Uva Provincial Council, and a large gathering of local residents
