දිට්වා සුළි කුණාටුවෙන් විපතට පත් වලපනේ ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත යළි ගොඩනැංවීම සඳහා ඌව පළාත් සභා රාජ්ය සේවයේ, සේවයේ නියුතු නිලධාරින් සහ බදුල්ල දිස්ත්රික්කයේ සහෝදරත්වයෙන් යුතු 5000කට අධික ශ්රම බලකායක් ජනවාරි 16 සිට 19 දක්වා දින හතරක් පුරා වලපනේ, මතුරට, නිල්දණ්ඩාහින්න හා හඟුරන්කෙත ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයන් හී “අධිෂ්ඨානයේ ශ්රම මෙහෙයුම” දියත් කරන ලදි. ඊට සමගාමීව ඌව පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාරවර කාර්යාලය, ඌව පළාතේ ප්රධාන ලේකම් කාර්යාලය, ඌව පළාත් මාර්ග අමාත්යාංශය, නියෝජ්ය ප්රධාන ලේකම් (පිරිස් හා පුහුණු) කාර්යාලය, බණ්ඩාරවල මහා නගර සභාවේ, නිලධාරීන් විසින් නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්රික්කයේ වලපනේ ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයේ කීර්තිබණ්ඩාරපුර, ළිහිණියාගල ගම්මානයේ සේරුපිටිය අමුණ සකස් කිරීම සහ ළිහිණියාගල පාසලට ප්රවේශ මාර්ගය සකස් කිරීමේ කටයුතුවල නිරත වූහ.
To rebuild the lives of the people of Walapane affected by Cyclone Ditwha, a labor force of over 5,000 comprising officers serving in the Uva Provincial Council Public Service and volunteers from Badulla District launched the “Adhishtana Shrama Meheyuma” (Determined Labor Operation) for four days from January 16 to 19 in the Walapane, Maturata, Nildandahinna, and Hanguranketha Divisional Secretariat Divisions. Concurrently, officers from the Office of the Governor of Uva Province, the Office of the Chief Secretary of Uva Province, the Uva Provincial Ministry of Roads, the Office of the Deputy Chief Secretary (Personnel and Training), and the Bandarawela Municipal Council engaged in the construction of the Serupitiya Tank in Keerthibandarapura, Lihiniyagala village in the Walapane Divisional Secretariat Division of Nuwara Eliya District, and the preparation of the access road to Lihiniyagala School.
